Weddings should be FUN
I am a firm believer that weddings should be FUN and colorful! We are not cookie cutter as people, nor should our weddings be.From the first email I received from MeiLee, I knew we were destined to be great friends. I could feel the enthusiasm and zest for life in every word and exclamation point. She explained to me how much she loved color and how they would be including dinosaurs and power wheels into their wedding day. It was no question we were going to have a blast working together.
Your wedding should reflect YOU
As a wedding photographer, I love encouraging couples to create a wedding that reflects them. Obviously, it is so easy to get bogged down with Pinterest ideas and what everyone is telling you a wedding should be. I love that weddings have become a way to express who you are together as a couple. That’s what it’s about! Marriage is such a beautiful thing. No marriage is the same. No relationship is the same. We’re all different humans with different personalities, interests, different ways we show love. So, why should all our weddings be the same? The simple answer: They should not.

Ask yourself deeper questions
If you’re in the midst of wedding planning, I urge you to think about who you are. Ask yourself these questions: What do you love? What does your partner love? Are there certain things that would make you happy on your wedding day? Overall, what is it you want to do on your wedding day and how would you like to spend it? After you find the answers to those questions, do exactly that.
