02. How far out do you book?
I typically book weddings anywhere from 12-15 months out. As soon as you have your venue and date confirmed, hit me up so we can get this party started! My weekends are very limited.
01. How long have you been a wedding photographer?
I got my first big-girl camera in 2013 and took my photography officially full-time in 2018
03. What do you shoot with?
I'm a Canon girl
04. I see you're based out of both Austin and Colorado. Where do you actually live?
I'm a Colorado Native whose been calling Texas home base for the last 10 years but my hubby and I just bought a house in Pine, CO in February of 2022! WOOOOT!!!
05. Will you still be taking weddings in Texas after you move?
Absolutely! I only take a very limited number of weddings out of state so I don't have to be away from my family. I typically book March, April and November weddings in Texas.
06. What is your turnaround time?
Engagement Sessions take 3 weeks and weddings take up to 8 weeks. I care very much about your moments and I don't like to rush them. Though, I know how hard it is to wait so I will always deliver sneak previews to you before your final gallery is ready.
07. How would you describe your style?
My style is embraces color and all-out joy. My work itself is crisp and bright, vibrant and full of life and a whole lotta heart. Our approach truly allows you to let loose and be yourselves. We understand being in front of the camera can be uncomfortable, which is why building a relationship and learning more about your personalities is a huge priority for us and essential for documenting more genuine portraits.
08. My wedding color palette isn't full of vibrant colors, will you still be our photographer?
OF COURSE!!! Listen, I love me some pops of color but I love love even more and having a more muted color palette doesn't make your celebration of love less important to me. However, if you don't LOVE bright, vibrant photos themselves, I'm probably not the girl for you.
08. What's your favorite movie?
Okay ... it's hard to just pick one because there are so many different genres with fantastic movies. BUT without a doubt, The Holiday is one of my all-time favorite romcoms. It's tradition (literally just my own tradition) that I watch this movie by myself every single year around the holidays. I just love the love stories. They're so sweet and pure and the characters are all so endearing and I just want them to find happiness. It melts my heart every time.
09. What are your prices?
Wedding collections with me (Danielle) start at $6000 for full day coverage (up to 10 hours) in Colorado but destination weddings are at a higher rate due to the time and cost of travel + lodging, plus time being away from my family.
