In my spare time I enjoy sitting around the fire pit in my backyard with my husband and our dogs, sipping a cold cocktail. Margaritas, anyone?! I'm also a HUGE lover of travel and I take the opportunity to visit new places, plan and organize trips and get all of our friends together for epic adventures. Planning events where people get to enjoy themselves is truly in my DNA.

Hey there, I'm Karen! I have operated my own successful business for the last 20 years and have a passion for organization, excellent customer service and bringing happy, stress-free moments to people. One of the reasons I love planning weddings so much is because I am a problem solver at heart who loves to see people happy. When I see something that needs done, I tell you what, it gets done -- and with a LOT of enthusiasm.

Not only do I know what it feels like to get married myself and have that experience as a bride, I've been there as a parent, too. My kids have all been married and I can tell you firsthand, I wanted to be present for those moments. I wanted to be a part of them and enjoy them instead of working them. I am so passionate about serving my couples but also serving their parents. Seeing your kids get married is a huge deal, and being present for it to soak in and enjoy those moments together is extremely important. My goal is to not only take care of you and your partner, but to take care of your parents, too. 

I have a fun, colorful, energetic and driven personality that will guide you through the planning process, seamlessly and bring your colorful vision to life. I am an inclusive, equality minded planner, I serve all couples and I believe all love stories are beautiful and worth documenting.

If you asked me five years ago if Dani and I would be running a business together, I'm not sure I would have believed it right that second. But looking back, it all makes sense! I started my own business years ago and teamed up with my mom (Dani's grandma) and we loved every minute of working together. So, it only makes sense that Dani and I would join forces and give our couples the actual best experience possible. 

We have a very close family and truly value relationships, which is one of the reasons we work so well together. We have open communication with each other and are passionate about working as a team and making other people happy. Not to mention, we REALLY love margaritas and having dance parties. So, you better believe you'll see us both singing and dancing at your reception.
