Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Harper Hill Ranch set the stage for one of the most colorful and joyous weddings I’ve ever had the privilege to photograph. Mo and Colton’s special day was nothing short of a vibrant celebration of love, individuality, and the beauty of two lives coming together.

A Venue that Inspires

Harper Hill Ranch is a gem among Texas wedding venues. Its rustic charm, sprawling oak trees, picturesque views—and most notably, its signature stained glass windows—offer the perfect canvas for rustic elegance. Those stained glass windows cast a radiant glow inside the barn, filtering sunlight in colors that echoed the couple’s wildflower-inspired theme.

Pops of Color Everywhere

From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with vibrant florals that seemed to have leaped right out of a fairytale. The ceremony space featured two stunning pieces adorned with yellows, blues, pinks and peach. Even the seating arrangements carried a pop of color, with green and gold chairs and the aisle had throws that made every corner a true colorful dream.

Mo’s bouquet was a work of art—a hand‑tied masterpiece that mirrored the exuberance of the day. Colton’s boutonniere perfectly complemented Mo’s ensemble. All thanks to the one and only Sue Bee Vintage. 

Attire that Dazzles

Mo stunned in a gown that seamlessly combined timeless elegance with a touch of whimsy, while her bridesmaids complemented the color palette in mismatched dresses of terracotta and sage. Colton and his groomsmen balanced out the color palette with black and gray suits, sporting neck ties and a bow tie in different colors. 

The Ceremony: A Heartfelt Exchange

Through the kaleidoscope glow of the barn’s stained glass, Mo and Colton exchanged vows that brought tears and laughter to everyone present. Even my own heart fluttered as I watched their exchange seeing each other for the first time, as Mo bounces at the end of the aisle and Colton wiped away tears of joy. 

A Reception to Remember

The reception was held in Harper Hill Ranch’s elegant barn, a space that was brought to life with candlelight, colorful table settings, and their stunning chandeliers. 

One of the most memorable moments was the couple’s first dance. As they twirled across the dance floor, they looked like they were professional dance partners. It was a moment of pure magic. Not to mention, the Father Daughter dance brought tears to my eyes. It was the sweetest, most beautiful dance I’ve ever seen and really showcased what a strong bond Mo and her father have.

Capturing the Magic

As a wedding photographer, my goal is always to preserve the spirit of a couple’s love story, and Mo and Colton’s wedding was a dream come true. The combination of energy, color, genuine connection—and of course, those gorgeous stained glass windows—made every frame a work of art. From candid laughter during the getting‑ready moments to emotional exchanges during the toasts, every detail told different pieces of their story in such a meaningful way.

It’s a day I’ll always treasure, not just for its visual beauty but for the joy and connection that radiated throughout.
